Reading, writing, and arithmetic. The “three
R’s” have been the standard in education
since man first recognized the value of his acquired
wisdom. As times change, however, so should the education
that is provided to our most precious resources, our
children. Understanding credit, debt, and personal finance
was not an issue a decade ago, but as we move into the
new millennium, these have become fundamentals that our
children will need to create fulfilling lives. Few schools
include lessons designed to help kids become financially
literate. It’s up to you, their parents, to help
educate them to become financially capable, confident
adults. |
